Finally, we have an account for Google App Engine! We’ve been playing around with Amazon, Facebook and more trying to find a flexible and powerful way to move forward with our new project and this might just be perfect.
Have a look at the details if you’re interested (http://appengine.google.com/) – once we’ve done some more investigation we should have some more new up here.

Its been approximately 15 hours since we registered this domain, and already 3 pages are on Google. The interesting part about that is that aside from the front page – they other 2 are the only two blog posts we had yet.
Using pingomatic does by default include Google notifications, which they obviously treat as a higher priority than manual submissions, most likely based on the idea that blog posts are more relevant as they happen, and lose relevance as they age.
The moral of this story, is that the quickest easiest way to get your site on Google is to have a blog as a part of it (or design it with a blog like we did – read more) – or perhaps to just ping pingomatic with your regular site pages?
